Tea Eater's Latest Single 'Double'
NYC-based band Tea Eater has unleashed a frenetic burst of post-punk space rock with their latest single 'Double'. The song, lasting a minute and thirty seconds, is filled with catchy melodies, crunchy bass riffs, and interstellar guitar tones.
Fronted by Tarra Thiessen of Gustaf and Sharkmuffin, Tea Eater brings a fresh sound to the post-punk genre. Their debut LP, titled 'Obsession', is scheduled to be released on October 6, 2023 via A Diamond Heart Productions/Amethyst Trax and La Fam Recordings.
With 'Double', Tea Eater showcases their unique style and sets the stage for what's to come on their upcoming album.
The Inspiration Behind 'Double'
'Double' is not just a catchy song, but also has a deeper meaning. According to Tarra Thiessen, the song is about killing our own evil twin and taking ourselves less seriously.
