Everyone should see the Northern Lights, or aurora borealis, as soon as possible. While there are many areas to see this phenomenon, Iceland, Alaska, Canada, and Norway are among the most popular. These are all so beautiful!!! Unfortunately, I haven’t done much traveling as an adult or even been outside of the US, but whenever I get a chance to plan my first vacation I’ll definitely be using this list to plan my destination!
Do you lean on the adventure side or the relaxed side? I think that would help you decide which places you'd want to visit. Best of luck and enjoy regardless of where you choose to go! :)
Oh my goodness - I just created a brand new bucket list based on these photos! Absolutely breathtaking. Stunning fall colors are my heaven. Daigo-ji Temple and Five Flower Lake look like places I would never want to leave. I'm so grateful to see photos like this and be reminded that when the hustle and grind of life becomes all-consuming, places like this exist. It's easy to go through our days and not even think about this kind of beauty until we're directly presented with it. Thank you for the reminder to slow down and remember the world is a big, beautiful place!
Wow! These are some breathtaking pictures and Im so envious of the people that live close by and can see these every day in real time. The only one I'm very familiar with is the northern lights. My sister lives in Alaska and she sends pictures every now and then. Im going to save up and go visit her next summer. I also want to add we don't have to go far to see some beautiful sights. Just now I can look out my window and get a smile on my face to see all the green foliage after such a long, dreary winter.
These photos are gorgeous. I want to add every one of these locations to my bucket list—especially the Northern Lights. I love to travel and love to see new places. What a great list that you have put together. The lavender fields look absolutely amazing. It makes me want to stand there quietly and take it all in. It's going on my focus board.
You have got my travel juices flowing with this article. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hello, fellow Northern Lights fan! I've been following tips for the best time to go to be able to see the Lights. It would be a bummer to miss out on them when you travelled a long way. I've read stories about such incidents and I hope it won't happen to me.
I really want to see the Northern Lights. It would be so amazing to see them in person. I've seen pictures and videos of them, but it's just not the same as seeing them with your own eyes. I hope that one day I'll be able to see them for myself.
From what I've learned, the Northern Lights are one of the most amazing natural phenomena in the world. They are caused by the interaction of charged particles from the sun with the atmosphere of the earth. The lights are usually visible in the northern hemisphere, and they can be truly breathtaking to behold.
What beautiful sights! The earth is an exquisite creation and I can't help but marvel at it's Creator. What a relaxing pastime to enjoy all that nature offers.
Yes, the natural phenomena makes it even more impressive! The beauty of nature that we are missing out on trying to make it through this rat race of life. I am looking forward to seeing the Northern Lights one day. :D
I think I just found the best desktop backgrounds with this collection!!
Great idea. It reminds me of the hills that are by default found in a Windows laptop - ha ha!
Half of these are on my life bucket list (with the Northern Lights ranking pretty high up), and I've never even heard of the other half!
The Lavender Fields and Tulip Fields are especially pulling at my "wanderlust" heart strings. Do you know if those places are that colorful year round or if there are prime visiting times?
Cheers!
